Election & Campaign Security
Every Scottish council is elected on 6 May 2027, and many candidates and campaign teams will be working from personal devices, shared inboxes and volunteer-built websites. Campaigns attract phishing, account takeover and disruption at exactly the moment a breach would do most harm. We harden the campaign's shared systems and rehearse what to do in election week.
